Salary Range: $26.44 To $33.04 Hourly

The North Perth Public Library is seeking a friendly and reliable Casual Library Assistant toprovide relief coverage at all 3 branches.

This role supports with various functions in the branches, as needed. Including assisting patrons, managing check-ins/check-outs, PCIN circulation and supporting with program preparation. If you're passionate about reading, community and love helping people , we'd love to hear from you!

The successful candidate should possess:

Post-Secondary Diploma in a related field

Excel Certificate in managing a small public library an asset.

First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

1-2 years of customer service experience.

Previous Library experience is an asset.





Service excellence and a positive attitude.

The ability to work well alone and in a team setting

This is a casual position with variable hours, providing additional staffing coverage as needed. Shifts will include daytime, evenings and weekends across all 3 branches. The hourly wage for this position is $26.44 - $33.04 per hour, along with access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program and optional enrollment in the OMERS pension plan.
