We offer industry leading wages, excellent training, benefits, RSP's and career growth potential with advancement opportunities within our diversified company. You will be responsible for winter and seasonal maintenance of The Alaska highways, using various heavy equipment.
Essential Responsibilities Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
Maintain Alaska Highways year‑round, including assisting with Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)
Work outside in all weather conditions
Qualifications Successful completion pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
Clear 3‑year driver’s abstract
Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset
Work Conditions As we respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on‑call, and night shift will be required

Camp provided in remote locations
Due to the nature of the work, preference will be given to local applicants
Compensation $30.76 - $37.72 per hour
This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level,



industry experience, and work location.
Remote, site‑based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
