We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns.
Repair or replace defective components, parts, and systems.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field when required.
Operate diagnostic tools and specialized repair equipment.
Qualifications
Journeyperson certification or equivalent experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic preferred.
Robust knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.
Valid driver's license; Class 1/Class A license considered an asset.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety.
