Lucha Libre Bar is hiring a part-time Host/Hostess. We're looking for someone experienced, reliable, and available on weekends to join our front-of-house team.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide friendly, skilled, and welcoming service to all guests
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage reservations and waitlists accurately
Comfortable using POS systems and reservation platforms.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally
Spanish is an asset
Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly with a warm and skilled attitude upon arrival
Manage reservations and walk-ins, maintaining an accurate waitlist
Seat guests efficiently while optimizing table rotation and restaurant flow
Provide accurate wait time estimates and communicate delays when necessary
Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth service and proper table assignments
Clean and reset tables, ensuring proper setup and presentation standards are maintained
Assist in managing guest flow during peak hours to ensure a positive dining experience
Support front-of-house operations as required, including assistance to servers or bartenders
