We are seeking a motivated, experience and dependable Harvesting Labourer to join our agricultural team. In this vital role, you will be actively involved in the apple harvesting process, ensuring crops are collected efficiently and safely. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute directly to the success of our farm operations. Responsibilities
Assist with the harvesting of appple crops using appropriate hand tools and machinery, ensuring timely collection
Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment safely to facilitate apples harvesting activities
Maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal crop growth and health during harvest periods
Plant, cultivate,fertilize and spray crops (apples).
. Examine produce for quality.
Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads
Working in inclement weather
Combination of walking, crouching, bending, and
Standing for extended periods
Use basic math skills to measure, count, and record harvest quantities accurately
Conduct inspections of crops and equipment,



identifying any issues that require attention or repair
Assist with general farm maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairing, and organizing tools and machinery.

Experience
More than 10 years of experience working on a farm or in an agricultural setting is required.
Familiarity with apple crop cycles is advantageous
Mechanical knowledge or experience operating farm machinery and heavy equipment is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment
Robust physical stamina with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
