Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC machines, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential to ensure high-quality output and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and manual machining tools to produce complex parts according to specifications
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models using SolidWorks or similar software
Perform routine maintenance and calibration on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards
Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment such as forklifts, welding tools,



and assembly fixtures
Assist in assembly processes when required, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and finished to specifications

Requirements
Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and manual machining centers.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting machining issues
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, assembly, and lean manufacturing principles
Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
Prior experience in a manufacturing setting with exposure to CNC programming and setup is highly desirable
