The CNC Machinist Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced machinists to learn the setup, operation, and programming of CNC equipment while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent chance for someone interested in pursuing a career in the machining trade.
Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment
Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Load materials and tooling into machines
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Support senior machinists with troubleshooting and process improvements.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Participate in apprenticeship training and complete required coursework.

High School Diploma

Previous manufacturing or shop experience is an asset but not required
