Bittele Electronics Inc. is an established Turn-Key PCB assembly company specializing in prototype and low-to-mid volume PCB assembly. Our facility in Toronto, Canada incorporates our Head Office, Sales Office, Parts Procurement Team, as well as our current State-of-the-Art PCB Assembly line. In business since 2003, we are securing a solid brand name and reputation in low-to-mid volume Turn-key PCB assembly throughout the EMS industry.

We are looking for some experienced hand soldering technicians who can work independently and carry out the daily schedule laid out by the production manager for our production team.

Work Type: Temporary, Full-Time, On-Site

Working Period: 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on business needs

Shift: Afternoon Shift — 4:30 pm to 1:00 am, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for hand soldering and rework of SMT components onto Printed circuit boards (PCB).
Perform manual assembly of electronic components using hand tools.
Component preparation, placement or installation.




Ability to demonstrate rework skills with de-soldering station and hot air gun.
Product and materials packing for shipment.
In-process Inspection and touch up of thru-hole and surface mount components using microscope.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of electronic assembly experience, and/or
Minimum 1 year of soldering experience.
Diploma or post-secondary education.
Strong team player with minimal supervision.
Can-do and willing-to-do attitude.
Knowledge of IPC 7711/7721 (Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies) preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Types: Full time, Fixed term contract Pay: $18.60-$21.60 per hour
