CMO IT Services
Prince George
CMO IT Services | Prince George, BC | Full-Time For 26 years, CMO IT Services has operated with a deliberate model: a founder-owned company where a highly capable team of senior experts works closely with a select group of long-term clients. We built a business that prioritizes quality over volume, relationships over churn, and meaningful work over the noise and bureaucracy found elsewhere in the industry.
We don't chase scale for the sake of scale. We choose focus, precision, and excellence. Our structure isn't about size; it's about intention:
- A team of seasoned professionals who operate at a high level
- A client base we know deeply and support with pride
- A culture built on trust, autonomy, and enjoyment of the craft
- A business model that is financially robust, stable, and designed to stay that way
There's no chaos here, no endless ticket mills, and no corporate layers. Just a proven, profitable operation built by people who genuinely like their work and the clients they work with. If you want to join a team that values expertise, ownership, and doing things right, you'll find your place here.
We're looking for an experienced IT professional who already has a strong foundation across Microsoft 365, infrastructure, networking, and client support, but still has room and the desire to grow.
This is not an entry-level position. You'll be expected to independently troubleshoot problems, manage your own workload, work directly with clients, and support production environments from day one.
At the same time, you won't be expected to know everything. You'll work directly alongside senior technicians with more than 20 years of experience who are available for escalation, design review, knowledge sharing, and mentorship as you develop into more advanced infrastructure, cloud, security, automation, and project work.
Responsibilities
These are your core responsibilities. Like any proactive IT provider, you'll also handle the unexpected: emerging technologies, unique client requests, and whatever else keeps our clients running smoothly.
Most weeks balance proactive project work (migrations, implementations, security hardening) with reactive support. You'll typically work with 2-3 clients per day, managing your own schedule and priorities.
This is a Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM position with genuine work-life balance. The kind where you're done for the day when you leave the office.

- Administer email security systems and policies

MSP / Multi-Client Experience Experience supporting multiple independent client environments through an MSP, IT consultancy, outsourced IT provider, or similar multi-client role is strongly preferred.
This experience matters to us.
Our technicians move between different businesses, environments, technologies, priorities, and personalities throughout the day. - Solid technical writing and documentation skills
- Excellent customer service and client communication skills
- Ability to explain technical issues in plain language
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload
- Willingness to ask questions and escalate when appropriate
- Strong desire to continue learning and developing technically
We aren't looking for someone who already knows everything. We are looking for someone experienced enough to work independently today, with the technical curiosity and aptitude to continue developing alongside a very experienced team.

- Advanced PowerShell automation
- Bash scripting
- Linux administration
- DevOps experience
- Advanced Microsoft Intune experience
- SharePoint migrations
- Microsoft Defender technologies
- Advanced networking
- Security compliance experience
- Experience using AI tools for script generation, documentation, research, or security analysis

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
