About the Job:

Systems Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a discipline focused on improving system service availability, observability, scalability, performance, and resilience across Brokerage by applying sound software engineering principles and adopting the latest technology and tooling.

Within Plant

Management, the Grid Computing Squad is responsible for designing, building, and operating Brokerage grid compute systems for pricing and risk calculations. We provide reliable, efficient, and innovative grid computing platforms, and partner with our internal customers to use them effectively to meet their business goals. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Working closely with our stakeholders and partners to design, build and operate Brokerage grid compute systems using on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure Using Reliability Engineering principles to improve grid compute platform stability and efficiency

Required skills :





-Excellent written and verbal communication

-Thorough knowledge of Linux with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a Linux-based distributed systems environment

-Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems and debug to identify root cause -Experience with Ansible, GitHub or any automation/configuration/release management tools

-Automation-related experience is particularly valued using scripting languages such as python, Linux shell-scripting etc.

-Practical experience in IBM Spectrum

-Symphony

Desired skills:

ITIL Service Management experience

-Agile methodology experience Cloud technologies - Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud Platform Terraform Kubernetes Perl Autosys Advanced Unix knowledge of Kernels, File system, and memory management
