Kickstart your engineering career with MKS Instruments as an Engineering/Development Co-op intern from January to April 2027. Engage in innovative projects supporting optical sensor technology.

As an intern, you will report to the Principal Optical Engineer and work in a hands-on environment. Your role will include participating in the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments, as well as developing new test equipment. This internship is an chance to gain extensive insights into engineering applications in semiconductor technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in design and analysis of precision sensing experiments
• Support construction and validation of current test equipment
• Assist in calibration of optical and thermal systems




• Develop test documentation including plans and reports
• Analyze data using statistical software for informed conclusions

Requirements:
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable with hardware and lab equipment
• Programming skills in Python, LabView, or MATLAB
• Must be available full-term from January to April 2027
