We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Labourer/Manufacturing Associate to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, supporting various operations on the production floor. Duties
Packing and sorting parts in a designated area
Assist in the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and secured
Grinding and re-work of parts as required
Support manufacturing processes by preparing materials, organizing workstations, and maintaining cleanliness
Conduct routine visual inspections of assembled parts
Assisting press operators to load and unload parts from a punch press and other machinery.
Follow safety protocols at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Skills
Mechanical knowledge to understand basic machinery operation and manufacturing processes
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in assembly and manufacturing tasks
Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing or warehouse settings
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work as part of a team
Strong attention to safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace
Positive physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout shifts
