The Family Service
Manager will play a critical role in overseeing programs funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, while guiding a team of specialists. You will be responsible for budgeting, staff evaluations, and ensuring that the services meet the cultural needs of Indigenous families. A deep commitment to community-centered practices is essential for success. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a dedicated team of up to 15
Handle program contracts with compliance and oversight
Oversee staff hiring, training, and evaluations
Participate in strategic planning and goal monitoring
Manage departmental budgets with accuracy Requirements:
Degree in Human Services, Social Services, or related field
7–10 years in Indigenous service delivery
3–5 years in a supervisory role
Familiarity with Indigenous legislative frameworks
Valid driver's license required Lead and inspire through culturally sensitive services that uplift Indigenous communities.
