Duties
Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, or spray foam according to project specifications and blueprints
Use hand tools including knives, drills, and staple guns to secure insulation properly in walls, ceilings, floors, and attics
Read and interpret construction blueprints to determine insulation placement and specifications
Apply caulking around seams and joints to improve insulation performance and prevent air leaks
Install drywall panels when necessary to prepare spaces for insulation work
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during installation processes to maintain a secure work environment
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Experience
Prior experience in construction or related trades is highly desirable
Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding construction plans is a plus
Hands-on experience with caulking, drywall installation, or working with hand tools is preferred
Knowledge of different insulation types and installation techniques is beneficial
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
