Job Summary
We’re looking for a friendly and proactive Grocery Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face helping customers find what they need, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring our shelves are well-stocked. Duties
Assist customers with their shopping needs by providing knowledgeable and courteous service.
Restock shelves and ensure products are properly labeled and organized for easy browsing.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including aisles and displays areas.
Support merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and arranging products attractively.
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment or organizing stock areas.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Experience
Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person.
Good organizational skills to manage stock levels and keep the store tidy.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in a quick-paced setting.
Basic knowledge of merchandising, cleaning and store maintenance will be advantageous.
