Duties
Operate glazing machinery and heavy equipment to assemble window frames and install glass panels with precision.
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to secure glass into window frames according to specifications.
Conduct machining and assembly tasks to ensure proper fit and finish of window components.
Perform quality checks on finished products, inspecting for defects or inconsistencies in glazing and assembly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
Collaborate with team members on production line tasks to meet daily output goals efficiently.
Requirements
Mechanical knowledge with experience operating manufacturing or heavy equipment.
Prior warehouse or construction experience preferred, especially with power tools and hand tools.
Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely; forklift certification is a plus.
Familiarity with machining, welding, and assembly processes within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
Ability to work standing for extended periods while maintaining focus on detail-oriented tasks.
Excellent teamwork skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing production needs.
