Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
Follow recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines to ensure consistency and safety
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Ensure all food handling procedures are adhered to, promoting a safe and hygienic environment
Requirements
Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry with a focus on cooking and meal preparation
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of serving standards and customer service principles
Kitchen experience including familiarity with kitchen equipment and food prep tools
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
