Experience programming with at least one up-to-date language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
Experience in embedded development in C/C++
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
What the job involves
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be a core member of a software team developing Ring's next generation of camera-centric devices. While experience with embedded systems is valuable, we're looking for engineers passionate about building IoT products who are eager to work close to the hardware
You will be responsible for managing your personal backlog, prioritising issues, and diving deep into technical issues
The team are responsible for developing and delivering firmware for Rings camera-centric devices - new products, supporting existing devices, and adding new features. We're a large team with sites in Europe and Asia as well as stakeholders in the US
