Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the guidance of a licensed electrician.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems.
Assist in the installation and connection of electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
Use hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, bend, and install wiring and conduit.
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Enrollment in an apprenticeship program is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical principles and concepts.
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
