Qualifications:
Grade 12 preferred
Ability to maintain a positive and patient approach
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to demonstrate cross-cultural experience
Must have positive communication skills
The suitable candidates will be able to perform the following duties:
Assist students to be in class on time and to remain in class for the full period.
Address disruptive student behaviours & speak with students in a supportive way.
Accompany students to time out space, de-escalation space, administration office, etc.
Debrief with student support workers, social workers and administration daily.
Keep accurate records and daily log of activities.
