Heavy Duty Mechanics - 4/4 Rotation - FIFO + Accommodations Provided - $45/hr - Resolute, NU ATCO Frontec is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their Site Services department in Resolute Bay, Nunavut. This role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment in a remote Arctic workplace, with a unique rotation schedule and all travel, accommodation, and meals provided. The ideal candidate is a Red Seal certified mechanic who thrives in challenging conditions and is committed to safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Need Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification is preferred
Valid class 3 driver’s license is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills




Ability to manage time and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Ability to weld (gas and AC/DC) is an asset
Experience working in a remote environment is an asset
Strong commitment to workplace safety requirements and procedures
Physically able to perform strenuous and demanding tasks (lifting, pulling, etc.)
Preparedness to work in extreme weather conditions
Successful completion of pre-employment alcohol & drug test, fit to work medical test, and criminal record check
Ability to obtain Security Clearance
