RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mobile patrol security professionals, including scheduling, training, and performance management; provide leadership and guidance, coaching, mentoring, and enforcing company policies and procedures
Implement crisis management protocols, including evacuation procedures, communication strategies, and resource allocation, to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction with security services
Monitor patrol routes and schedules to optimize coverage and response times, adjusting as needed to address emerging threats or vulnerabilities
Coordinate with clients, property managers, and law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns and incidents
Maintain accurate records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and prepare detailed reports for management and clients
Ensure that patrol vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and in positive working condition, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
Stay informed about security trends, threats, and best practices, and make recommendations for enhancements to patrol procedures and protocols
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the mobile patrol unit, promoting teamwork, morale, and a strong commitment to safety and security
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE) High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers’ license
Valid provincial Security Guard License
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in security operations
Minimum of one (1) year supervisory or leadership experience
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Suite
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations
Proven ability to effectively prioritize activities through time management skills
Skilled in de-escalation techniques
Proficiency in security procedures, protocols, and emergency response techniques
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE) Additional education or training in security management or related field
