Afterschool is seeking Teaching Assistants to work directly with children in grades junior kindergarten to 5 across four Toronto schools. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, manage classroom activities, and maintain communication with parents. This role emphasizes a warm, welcoming setting, particularly through Hebrew immersion and conversation. Key Responsibilities:

- Pick up and transport students safely from schools
- Support teachers in classroom management and activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate updates and attendance with parents
- Assist in documenting classroom experiences via photos/videos

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Hebrew; fluency preferred
- Background in Jewish studies and tradition
- Experience with children in educational or camp settings
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to children's social and emotional growth
