Executive Assistant
Full-time
Wycliffe College is currently seeking to fill the full-time position of Executive Assistant to the Principal and Vice Principal.

The Executive Assistant will provide administrative and project support to the Principal and Vice Principal of Wycliffe College, supporting the strategic priorities of the College.

The successful candidate will have solid organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to plan pro-actively and take initiative to keep projects moving forward. They will be able to work under pressure in a calm and professional manner and balance the competing demands of routine work with the special requirements of projects and events.

Summary of Duties

Support the Principal and the Office of the Principal by Providing administrative and project support, particularly on projects that support the strategic priorities of the College

Provide administrative support to the Wycliffe College Board of Trustees Helping to oversee internal communications of the College

Coordinating annual and special events connected to the Principal’s Office Helping to maintain the Principal’s calendar

Receiving and submitting invoices and expense claims related to the Principal and the Principal’s Office

Support the Vice Principal and the Office of the Vice Principal by Helping to maintain the Vice Principal’s calendar and email Assisting in course planning and scheduling

Supporting the hiring and onboarding of core faculty and sessional faculty, as well as processes related to faculty status and promotion

Coordinating annual and special events connected to the Vice Principal’s Office Receiving and submitting invoices and expense claims related to the Vice Principal, Faculty, and Recruitment

Qualifications/Skills:

University degree or college diploma.





Minimum of three years of administrative and/or project management experience, ideally working directly with senior management.

Strong computer proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams). Experience with schedule management tools an asset.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably, tactfully, professionally, and effectively with a wide range of internal and external constituencies including students, faculty, staff, board members, donors, and community members inside the Christian community.

Ability to maintain confidentiality as well as exercise discretion and sound judgement.

Demonstrated experience in accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to anticipate needs, plan pro-actively, and take initiative to keep projects moving.

Writing proficiency in general correspondence and special project writing.

Ability to work under pressure in a calm and professional manner and balance the competing demands of routine work with the special requirements of projects and events.

Experience in an educational setting is preferred.

Strong commitment to the mission and commitments of Wycliffe College.

Familiarity and comfort working in a Christian setting.

Salary commensurate with experience in the range of $58,000-68,000
