Job description:
Our ITAD division provides Canadians with a one stop recycling service for end-of-life IT equipment. We are looking for a computer technician. In this role you will refurbish and optimize used assets.
Receive and triage inventory
Participate in onsite pickups and deliveries
Prep equipment for shipping
Inspect and audit computers and categorize appropriately for resale potential.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware related problems and configure, upgrade all software and hardware requirements.
Complete hard drive wiping and secure data destruction as desired by customers.
Input required data into ERP system and/or excel
Ensure to complete all customer requirements in a timely and secure manner.
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Proven ability to complete customer requirements to the fullest.
Background in computer hardware is required, software is an asset
Quick learner, self-starter
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
