This full time position involves direct care and advocacy for young residents. The role of Youth Worker at YouthLink encompasses a commitment to equity-based practices while offering direct supervision and support to youth in transitional housing.

You will foster a safe setting while addressing individual needs and assisting in goal-oriented programs. Your experience will shape the resilience and futures of those you support. Key Responsibilities:
Welcome current residents and conduct intake interviews
Support youth in daily activities and long-term goals
Handle crisis situations, ensuring resident well-being




Maintain cleanliness of the shelter environment
Record documentation accurately and on time Requirements:
At least 1-year experience in a relevant field
Diploma in Child and Youth Work or related discipline
Certifications in First Aid/CPR and Crisis Prevention intervention are assets
Familiarity with best practices in equity and diversity
Ability to work in a pet-friendly environment Drive change and contribute to a supportive community at YouthLink as you assist youth in their journey.
