Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
Serve customers at the counter with a friendly attitude, taking orders and providing product recommendations through upselling techniques
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates to uphold quality standards
Requirements
Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
