Job Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Part-Time Permanent Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team on Sundays. Hours are 9:45AM - 4:15PM. This position is for a brand new, state of the art dental office with an AMAZING Dental Team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and support. This role requires proficiency in various dental software systems including Tracker and a solid understanding of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology.

Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Tracker
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with other dental professionals to optimize patient flow.
Support orthodontic procedures by taking impressions and assisting with CAD (Computer-Aided Design)

Handle light front desk administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and patient follow-ups.

Qualifications
Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) is required.
At least 2 years previous CDA experience in a dental office setting is essential.
Proficiency in dental software systems such as Tracker is highly desirable.
Solid knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.5 per week
