Join the Whitewood Community Health Centre as a full time Emergency Medical Technician. This role involves providing Advanced Life Support in both emergent and non-emergent situations. This position is critical in responding to service calls, delivering treatment and transportation to those in need in compliance with regulations and protocols.
The Emergency Medical
Technician will work 12-hour shifts, which include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must hold a valid Class 4 driver's license and an International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS). Key Responsibilities:
Respond to emergent and non-emergent service calls
Provide Advanced Life Support and initial assessments
Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and regulations
Document treatments and patient conditions accurately
Transport ill or injured persons as required Requirements:
ITLS Certificate required
Valid Class 4 driver's license
Registered with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
Completion of Pre-Hospital Care Program at PCP Level
