Technical Integrator position summary
Our technical team is hiring a Technical Integrator to support our growing team. You will be responsible for Level 1 customer support, technical diagnostics and installations. Are you the person who would love to work on (wireless) networks, phone systems, and outfit a fire truck in the same week? And you are a self-starter who can manage your time effectively? The role requires drive and a strong sense of accountability, as the day-to-day work environment will involve very little direct supervision.

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

General office IT support: workstations, printers, peripherals, etc.

Customer support request

Installing networks, 2-way radio setups, phone systems, cell boosters, and more

Daily stats monitoring and issue reporting

Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications.

Customer Business Telephone (PBX)



support and maintenance.

Maintain inventory of IT assets.

Provide Support for local and remote users.

2-way radio programming

Qualifications

A+ Certification is an asset.

Emergency First Aid for Industry (formerly OFA1) is an asset. If needed, a course will be provided.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge and experience in operating systems, networking, and system support are a bonus.

Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and react quickly to changing priorities.

Ability to learn quickly, work independently, problem-solve, and perform a variety of tasks.

Availability to work a flexible schedule and have and maintain reliable transportation.

A large portion of this position involves fieldwork, so you must be able to work outside the office in remote locations and with non-standard office hours.

Strong documentation skills. Experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Valid Class 5 driver's license

Affinity with 2-way radio is a plus
