The Line Cook Supervisor works within the Food & Beverage department and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. This position works alongside and provides leadership and direction to Line Cooks and other Back of House employees while helping ensure food quality, consistency, safety, sanitation, and service standards are maintained. The Line Cook Supervisor supports the Kitchen Manager with food production, employee training, scheduling, inventory, and the overall execution of kitchen operations.

Job Duties
Supervise and participate in daily food preparation, production, and kitchen service
Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and support to Line Cooks and other BOH employees
Ensure recipes, portioning, presentation, food quality, and speed of service meet established standards
Ensure food safety, sanitation, storage, labeling, and cleanliness requirements are followed
Assist with onboarding and training new employees
Support scheduling, shift coverage, and day-to-day staffing needs
Monitor inventory levels, product rotation, and food waste
Assist with ordering, receiving, and proper storage of food and supplies
Communicate operational, staffing, equipment, and product concerns to the Kitchen Manager
Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented working environment
Ensure company policies, procedures, and departmental standards are followed
Requirements
18 years of age or older
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset
Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively and provide direction in a quick-paced environment
Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and security clearance
Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Work Conditions
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Regularly required to bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive movements associated with food preparation and cooking
Must be able to safely lift and carry food products, supplies, and kitchen equipment as required
Regular exposure to hot surfaces, cooking equipment, steam, kitchen noise, and temperature changes
Must be able to perform cleaning and sanitation duties
Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
