Job Class: Full Time/Permanent – 40 hours a week (Mon-Fri)
Location: WELL Health – DERM Lab
Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 CAD per hour

We are a vibrant medical and cosmetic dermatology clinic with 4 physicians, located in the heart of Lonsdale. You will be working to support our dermatologists in delivering excellent patient care. What you will be doing:
Administrative duties - answer a high volume of phone calls and emails, greet patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner, schedule appointments, manage referrals and results, and handle private payments.
Lab duties - prepare laboratory specimens (biopsies) for send out, dispose of ssssssssssscontaminated supplies, sterilize medical instruments (autoclave).
Patient care duties – Coordinate patient care through the clinic, check in, prep, and escort patients to exam rooms, prepare exam rooms, answer questions, provide post-appointment advice, run the UVB machine, monitor the waiting room and manage the flow.
General duties – Keep patient information confidential and secure at all times. Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management.
You Have:
High school diploma or the equivalent
Experience as an MOA or a MOA program certification is preferred
Work experience in a medical specialists’ office is an asset
Work experience in medical aesthetics is an asset
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and investigate problems
Open, positive, and accountable
Ability to work 5 days a week (Monday – Friday)
Experience with an EMR system (Accuro) is an asset
The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
