Littco Enterprises, is seeking a agile and experienced individual to fulfill the valuable dual role of Driver and Safety Officer. This combined position requires a candidate with strong communication and leadership skills, who can balance both on-site and in-house office duties. A dedication and passion to upholding a high level of safety practices is a must. Demonstrate strong written and oral skills, professionalism, reliability, and a positive workplace presence.
Driver Job duties: (include but are not limited to)
In office clean-up
Warehouse maintenance and organization
Deliveries and pick-ups (materials and equipment/tools)
Load and unload materials from truck
Site safety inspections, record keeping, monthly JOHS meetings
Tool tracking
Ordering materials, following office procedures, completing POs
-Some site coordination Safety Officer Duties: (training available)
Liaising with office staff and on-site crews
Leading monthly safety meetings
Maintaining safety records and filing, both written and electronic
Coordinating company safety policies in compliance with COR safety standards
Partake in yearly external and (3yr) internal safety audits
Liaise with Cor Safety officers when necessary
-Provide guidance on provincial safety regulations
Skills
Computer competency. Outlook, Excel, Word
Organizational skills with attention to detail
Self-starter
Must be physically fit. Heavy lifting required
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to receive feedback and team mentality
Drywall/construction experience, combined with a background in safety is preferred
Requirements:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a safe driving record
Criminal record check
-First Aid -Safety experience
