Duties
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures
Assist dentists during dental treatments with precision and care
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring patient safety and image quality
Manage patient records using dental practice management software such as Abel Dent documenting procedures accurately
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering reassurance to nervous patients
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards in all aspects of dental assisting
Skills
Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Abel dent for scheduling and record management
Dental Assistant Level 2 Certified
HARP Certified
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry to accurately document procedures
Solid understanding of dental assisting techniques combined with excellent communication skills
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
