We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer or Lead Hand to join our team and assist with various Mixed-use development. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, reliable, and eager to learn current skills in a dynamic construction environment. This role involves supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of construction tasks across residential, commercial, and restoration sites.
Prior experience with construction, hand tools, equipment is welcome, looking for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in construction trades.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and clean-up of job sites, ensuring safety and organization
Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to perform various tasks
Support tradespeople, carpentry work including framing, drywall installation, and flooring installation
Perform demolition, restoration work, or painting as needed on different projects
Aid in plumbing, welding, tile laying, or other specialized tasks under supervision
Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work setting
Requirements
Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction practices preferred
Prior experience in carpentry, restoration, or construction sites is beneficial but not required
Solid work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
Willingness to learn new skills as needed
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
