Key Responsibilities
Administer and tune 300TB+ DB2 LUW DPF clusters and OLTP databases.
Handle performance monitoring, troubleshooting, purging, reorganization, and space reclamation.
Manage backup, recovery, upgrades, and DR activities.
Perform DB2/Greenplum Snowflake data migration and archival.
Support SparkSQL-based archival pipelines with a 30-minute data availability target.
Automate DBA operations using Python and Shell scripting.
Manage/schedule jobs using Autosys and work with JIRA, Git, and Bitbucket.
Provide production support and participate in periodic on-call rotation.
Perform basic Sybase monitoring during on-call.
Independently troubleshoot issues and prioritize work in a Kanban-based setting.

Must-Have Skills

DB2 LUW/DPF, Performance Tuning, Production DBA, Python, Shell Scripting, Data Purging/Reorg, Snowflake, Data Migration, Autosys, Git/Bitbucket, JIRA.

SparkSQL, Sybase, VS Code, GitHub Copilot/AI-assisted development.
