Join COVE as a Project Engineer in Dartmouth, NS, focusing on maritime and dual-use technology projects. This role requires a Project Engineer to report directly to the Director, Project Delivery and engage in complex projects within a matrix environment.
You will be responsible for guiding engineering deliverables throughout their lifecycle, from design reviews to risk management and compliance. A solid emphasis will be on translating operational needs into actionable engineering requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Support project planning by identifying technical constraints and milestones
Challenge vendor proposals for alignment with operational goals
Validate system interfaces and integration considerations
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety
Prepare technical assessments and stakeholder reports Requirements:
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or in progress
Minimum of 5 years in a similar engineering role
Experience in technical risk management and integration activities
Robust analytical and decision-making abilities
