Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workplace while assisting with food preparation and meal assembly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, uphold high standards of food safety, and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals according to recipes and standards
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, prep stations, and storage areas
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
Help with stocking supplies and organizing storage areas to promote an efficient workflow
Adhere to all food safety regulations and restaurant policies during daily operations

Skills




Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients
Familiarity with cooking techniques is a plus but training will be provided
Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
