Position Overview
As MAXIM’s Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and accurately delivering and retrieving environmental and safety equipment to and from Client locations throughout the GTA using MAXIM’s dedicated company delivery vans.
This is a customer-facing position, so professionalism, reliability and exceptional communication are important.
On lighter delivery days, you will assist our Warehouse and Operations teams with preparing deliveries, packing and receiving shipments, checking equipment and helping wherever needed.
Responsibilities
Deliver and retrieve equipment throughout the GTA
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
Load and unload equipment safely
Verify orders for accuracy before delivery
Complete basic driver, shipping and receiving documentation
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Assist with packing, receiving, equipment checks and warehouse duties when required
Work closely with our Sales, Warehouse and Operations teams
Qualifications
Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s Licence
Clean driver’s abstract
Exceptional spoken and written English
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Dependable, punctual and organized
Solid attention to detail
Comfortable working independently
Team-oriented and willing to assist where needed
