1812 Concrete is looking to add an experienced Concrete Finisher / Labourer to our crew.
We primarily work in recent home construction in and around Winnipeg, including areas such as Sage Creek, Bridgwater, Meadowlands, Charleswood, and other developments around the perimeter.
This is a full-time position with steady work.
What we’re looking for The right person needs to have actual concrete experience and be able to contribute on both prep and pour days.
You should be comfortable with:
Concrete finishing
Magging and hand finishing
Edging
Garage floors and residential flatwork
Framing
Tying rebar / steel
General concrete prep
Stripping forms
Shovelling, raking and general site work
Working around skid steers and other construction equipment
You do not need to be a lead finisher, but you do need to be capable of working alongside another finisher and being useful on a pour without constant instruction. This is also a general labour position when we are not pouring, so you must be willing to help with all aspects of concrete work.
Requirements
Previous concrete finishing experience
Reliable and hardworking
Able to work full-time hours
Comfortable with physical outdoor work
Able to work longer days when required
Valid driver’s licence
Your own reliable transportation to and from jobsites is required
We work at different new home sites throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas, so you must be able to get yourself to the jobsite each day.
Pay
$25–$30/hour to start, depending on experience and finishing ability.
Higher pay is available for someone with strong concrete finishing experience who can take on more responsibility.
