Duties
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Support the kitchen team by managing waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently
Monitor dishwashing machinery for proper operation and report any maintenance issues promptly




Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Skills
Proven experience in cleaning or dishwashing within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in food service environments
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen atmosphere
Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
Basic understanding of kitchen operations including food preparation and cooking support
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members
Previous hotel or food service experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
