Collaborating with Registered Nurses and healthcare teams, you will direct Personal Support Workers to ensure all care needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with the Registered Nurse • Provide input in revising unit procedures for improved care • Liaise with physicians and healthcare team members • Notify physicians of significant resident status changes • Direct Personal Support Workers within the care team
Requirements: • Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario • Sound knowledge of geriatric and rehabilitation nursing • Understanding of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act • Experience in personnel administration • Member in good standing with the College of Nurses
