Immediate opportunities are available for civilian Spatial Information Officers in Edmonton, Esquimalt, Victoria, Winnipeg, Halifax, Borden, Kingston, Ottawa, Montréal, Québec City, and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
In this role, you will help manage and maintain spatial information that supports the Department of National Defence's real property and infrastructure portfolio. Responsibilities include:
Ensuring the quality and integrity of spatial data;
Supporting the development of technical standards and guidance materials;
Providing spatial information services and expertise to stakeholders across the organization.
Ideal candidates will have post-secondary education in a geomatics-related field and experience managing spatial information and data using GIS, CAD, BIM, or related technologies, while applying industry standards and quality assurance best practices.
