Nissan is seeking a Sales Tax Manager to join their Tax Department in Mississauga. This full time role requires five to seven years of indirect tax experience, strong knowledge of Canadian tax legislation, and the ability to coach and develop tax analysts. As part of a committed team, you will support compliance, manage audits, and ensure accuracy in tax reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and file monthly indirect and excise tax returns
• Lead indirect tax audits with the Canada Revenue Agency
• Analyze tax legislation and provide guidance to partners
• Maintain indirect tax configurations in ERP systems
• Support audits and compliance activities for internal controls
Requirements:
• 5 to 7 years of indirect tax experience
• Knowledge of the Canadian Excise Tax Act
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• CPA Canada In-Depth GST/HST Program completion
