Candidates working at this post are required to maintain, repair and overhaul of plant production equipment, building and grounds.
They’re also appointed at this post to perform preventative maintenance and improvements or modifications to production equipment.
Candidates at this post are required to support projects including working on project teams as required in the design, installation and commissioning of new or modified equipment.
Applicants at this post are required to maintain complete & accurate records of maintenance inspections and repairs, preventative maintenance activities and meter readings.
Candidates working at this post are required to track preventative maintenance on all equipment, machinery & boilers working at this post.
Job requirement
Candidates must be a licensed Industrial Mechanic and must have a practical experience performing as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting to be eligible for this post.
Candidates must attain excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot to be eligible for this post.
Candidates must have experience with automated manufacturing equipment to be eligible for this post.
Candidates at this post must have prior knowledge of PLC and controls to be eligible for this post.
Applicants must have a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license to get preferred for this post.
Work setting
Applicants at this post are required to maintain strong oral and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
They must attain the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced workplace, a self-starter who is able to multitask and change priorities to be eligible for this post.
