We are seeking a motivated and skilled Buncher Operator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery known as a buncher, which is used to efficiently gather and organize logs or timber during harvesting operations. Your expertise will help streamline the process of preparing materials for transportation and processing, ensuring safety, precision, and productivity.

Responsibilities
Operate the buncher machine safely and efficiently to gather logs or timber according to project specifications
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance
Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assist with machine adjustments and minor repairs
Coordinate with ground personnel to ensure proper placement and stacking of materials in designated areas
Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Maintain accurate logs of work performed, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during shifts
Assist with landscape maintenance tasks as needed to keep work sites clean and organized
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating heavy equipment such as a buncher or similar machinery
Construction experience or background working in outdoor or forestry environments
Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and other construction-related equipment confidently
Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and safety procedures on job sites
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is preferred for transporting equipment or materials
Basic understanding of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is a plus for site mapping and planning tasks
Strong maintenance skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly
Prior experience with heavy equipment operation, landscape work, or forestry projects is highly desirable
