Enhance well-being at Cochrane Public School as a Child and Youth Worker. You will engage full time with students, families, and community partners to address emotional and behavioral challenges. In this 35-hour-per-week role, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to support students’ mental health.
Required qualifications include a diploma in Child and Youth Work or Social Service Work, along with practical experience in behavioral intervention. Your expertise will help create goal-directed interventions for student success. Key Responsibilities:
Support mental health education for students and families
Develop community partner relationships for resource sharing
Facilitate mental health prevention and promotion programs
Assess students and recommend appropriate interventions
Keep accurate records of student support and progress Requirements:
Diploma in Child and Youth Work or Social Service Work
Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers
Experience in education and behavioral support strategies
Effective communication skills with school stakeholders
