Provide overall leadership to advance Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada's vision, mission, and priorities
Lead the organization in partnership with the Board of Directors
Oversee organizational strategy and operations
Strengthen relationships with Inuit organizations, governments, funders, and communities
Champion the voices and priorities of Inuit women nationally and internationally
Advance meaningful change for Inuit women and future generations
Advocate for Inuit women's rights, well-being, and cultural integrity
Requirements Deep commitment to Inuit women, Inuit communities, and Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ) principles
Proven strategic leadership experience guiding a national organization
Ability to build trusted relationships and partnerships across Inuit organizations, governments, funders, and communities
Solid governance, financial stewardship, and operational leadership
Credible and influential communication and advocacy skills
Integrity, compassion, and cultural humility
Ability to inspire high-performing, inclusive teams
Based in the Ottawa area or willing to relocate to Ottawa preferred
Willingness to travel regularly within Canada and across Inuit Nunangat
Core Competencies Demonstrates strategic leadership and operational oversight to advance the vision and mission of Inuit women, while fostering partnerships and advocating for their rights and well‑being. Exhibits strong governance and financial stewardship, alongside the ability to inspire inclusive teams and build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders.
