Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Casual Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional meal services within assisted living, retirement home settings. The ideal candidate will assist with serving, and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience for residents and patients. Responsibilities
Assist with food service in accordance with safety and sanitation standards
Serve meals to residents in a courteous and professional manner
Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks
Support food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed




Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and caregiving teams to meet dietary needs and preferences
Adhere to time management practices to ensure timely meal delivery

Qualifications
Experience in a retirement home or the food industry is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and qualified demeanor
Ability to follow safety guidelines related to food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Kitchen experience or prior food service experience is a plus
Ability to work flexible hours as needed in a casual setting
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

Pay: From $17.80 per hour
