We are seeking a agile and passionate Class 5 Driving Instructor to inspire and guide aspiring drivers through their journey to safe and confident driving. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive driving lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure students develop the skills necessary to succeed on the road. Your expertise will help shape responsible drivers while promoting safety, confidence, and independence.

Duties
Conduct engaging and informative driving lessons for students preparing for their Class 5 driver’s license
Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level and learning pace
Provide clear instructions on vehicle operation, traffic laws, safety procedures, and defensive driving techniques
Assess student progress regularly and offer constructive feedback to improve their driving skills
Maintain accurate records of lessons, student performance, and progress reports
Foster a positive, encouraging setting that builds student confidence and motivation
Stay updated on current traffic regulations, licensing requirements, and best teaching practices
Take pride in keeping company car clean inside and out
Qualifications
Valid Class 4 & 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
Valid Alberta Driving Instructor License
3 years experience
Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback
Strong classroom experience or ability to create engaging learning experiences
Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and defensive driving techniques
Ability to maintain professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm throughout lessons
